Thank You for an unforgettable night at the
1st Annual Hostplus ARCA & AFAB Industry Gala!
On Monday, 8 September 2025, the stunning Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf in Sydney came alive with the spirit, passion and energy
of Australia’s foodservice and hospitality community. The 1st Annual Hostplus ARCA & AFAB Industry Gala, proudly presented in partnership with
Fine Food Australia, was more than just a celebration — it was a night of powerful recognition, heartfelt connection
and well-deserved honouring of those who continue to shape and elevate our industry.
To all of you who joined us — from the chefs behind the pass and the floor leaders who bring service to life,
to the innovators and changemakers redefining what’s possible — thank you. This night was for you, and because of you, it was a resounding success.
A very special thank you to our wonderful host, Kate Creedon from 9News, who guided us through the evening with elegance and warmth.
The night was made even more memorable by a breathtaking performance from ARIA-nominated Ellian Collective,
whose live music added a magical touch to an already electric atmosphere.
We were deeply honoured to welcome John Graham, Minister for the Night-Time Economy NSW, as our esteemed Guest of Honour,
along with keynote speakers Kevin Hogan MP, Federal Shadow Minister for Trade & Tourism, and
Kevin Anderson MP, Shadow Minister for Tourism NSW, whose insights and presence reminded us of the importance and potential of our industry.
Congratulations to the winners of the AFAB Hero Recognition Awards, whose contributions inspire us all:
Industry Hero: Frank Furlong, Sustainability Hero: Ecolab and Innovation Hero: FOBOH
And finally, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Industry Gala Sponsors:
Doltone House, Tanda, Tip Top Foodservice, VistaPrint and Volume.
Your generous support made this celebration possible and your commitment to the industry is truly appreciated.
To everyone who attended, supported and contributed to the success of this special night — thank you.
We can’t wait to see what we’ll build together in the year ahead.
Until next year — thank you for being the heartbeat of foodservice and hospitality.
